Saskatchewan Parks Utilize Doctrine of Discovery
[Hayden] King, an Anishinaabe writer and educator based at Ryerson University, said the case turns on the Doctrine of Discovery, which Canada used to assume control over Indigenous territory and continues to rely on to assert sovereignty.
